God’s Word gives us the good news that any one can receive forgiveness of sin and the promise of eternal life by putting our faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Acknowledge your need.
“Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden,and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Understand your condition.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 6:23
Know your limitations.
“Not by works of righteousness that we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us.” Titus 3:5
Realize you have a Substitute.
“God commendeth his love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Believe in Jesus Christ.
“If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9
Ask Him to be your Savior.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:13
Be certain you have eternal life!
“I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” John 10:28
